On Wednesday, March 24th and Thursday, March 25th, five practical workshops of this year’s INSIGHT OUT will also be open to film & TV professionals, who want to join only the practical part of the symposium. The workshops are a great opportunity to test high-end, low budget and stereo 3D digital production pipelines for cinema and TV. State-of-the-art equipment is set up in HFF “Konrad Wolf” and experienced instructors help you to understand the importance of colour management, metadata etc.
Using the audio workflow for motion pictures as a guiding principle one workshop will explain every aspect of sound design during the creative process of making n film soundtrack come to life: Script / Shooting / Audio Transfer / Cutting Room / Dialogue Editing / Foley Editing / Sound design / Mixing / Deliveries. All this will be illustrated through hands-on examples of Christian Conrad's last project 'Jerry Cotton' which will be in German cinemas at the time of the workshop.
What: Six workshops running in parallel. All of them are offered twice.
