Matej Dimlic is the Programme Director of the Masters in Audio Production and the Principal Lecturer in Music and Film at the University of Westminster, London, UK. He is also leading the Documentary Film and the Contemporary World Cinema modules at the MA Film Degree at the University of Westminster. As Ass. Professor Matej has taught film and audio at the American Intercontinental  University. As audio visual professional and mixed media artist, he has worked both in front of and behind the camera, including Absolute Beginners ( director, producer), Eastern Biological’s mixed media performance The Sound ( director, composer, performer), and on filming and editing of Shirley Thompson’s/ RPO symphony recording New Nation Raising. Matej is currently working with the Faculty and the UOW, on the production of a series of music videos for the Baggers Banquet Group. In his research, Matej investigates the impact of audio on the audience’s perception of the visual narrative. Matej was also a participant at IO 2006.
