Dipl.-Ing. Florian Maier of 3D Consult, has been doing pioneering work in the field of 3D cinematography for more than ten years. Since 1997 he ran his own company, which specialized in 3D photography and 3D film. He developed new 3D recording devices (like the 3D Stereo Rig from P+S Technik) and holds several patents. Additionally he is involved in research projects on 3D. As a result, Florian Maier provides software solutions, e.g. the Stereoscopic Calculator, and other tools and 3d rigs for special application for stereoscopic recording. He offers his knowledge as stereo 3D consultant and holds workshops for stereo 3D cinematographers.
