Gerald Gutschmidt studied Industrial-Design, Film & Photography, Computer animation, Computer Science in Kiel(Germany), Columbus (Fulbright Scholarship), Groningen(Netherlands) and Berlin. He worked as Technical Director/CG Artist, Sequence Supervisor and CG Supervisor at mental images, Berlin and Industrial Light & Magic, San Francisco. His film credits include Asterix in Amerika, Mars Attacks!, Men in Black, Perfect Storm, Harry Potter, Hulk, Lemony Snicket, War of the Worlds, Mission Impossible 3, Pirates of the Caribbean 2, Transformers, Spiderwick Chronicles, Ironman.
