VFX for Roland Emmerich's 2012

About Manfred Büttner
Since 1985 Manfred Büttner has been working on digital visual effects for numerous commercials and more than 60 feature films, for instance /Run Lola Run, Maléna, Winged Migration, Whale Rider, Oliver Twist/ and /Der Baader-Meinhof Komple/x. Manfred Büttner worked for postproduction and VFX companies such as "Computer Animation Laboratory", "Scanline Production", "Das Werk" and "tvt.
postproduction". As director of studies of Babelsberg Film School he promoted the incorporation of visual effects in academic training. He is COO and Head of Production of the Babelsberg division of PIXOMONDO. As member of the board of directors of media.net Berlin-Brandenburg he brings his know-how to the biggest cross-sectoral business association of the creative industries in the capital region.
